The spokesman noted that the increased spending has led to strong results for the lottery products. The Tote Board channels the gaming surplus of the Singapore Turf Club.
The Tote Board also manages the Singapore Sweep, a draw based on sports betting. The Toto and Sweep draws take place twice a week. The first draw takes place every Monday and Thursday at 6.30PM, while the cascade draw takes place every Friday at 9:30PM.
The Toto lottery game was first introduced in 1968. It allows players to select seven numbers from one to 49. In addition to this, the player can choose an additional number for a higher prize.
