Among all the games in Singapore, Lottery is one of the most popular forms of gambling. There are three types of lottery: Toto, 4D, and Sweep.

The Tote Board, which governs the betting and horse racing industries in Singapore, has reported a 40% increase in wagers on lottery games. These wagers reached SGD 9.2 billion in the last financial year. The Tote Board’s spokesman said that the increase was triggered by the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

The Tote Board’s annual report for the 2021/22 financial year shows that total wagers on lottery and sports betting products have increased by 40%. The spokesman noted that the increased spending has led to strong results for the lottery products. The Tote Board channels the gaming surplus of the Singapore Turf Club.

The Tote Board also manages the Singapore Sweep, a draw based on sports betting. The Toto and Sweep draws take place twice a week. The first draw takes place every Monday and Thursday at 6.30PM, while the cascade draw takes place every Friday at 9:30PM.

The Toto lottery game was first introduced in 1968. It allows players to select seven numbers from one to 49. In addition to this, the player can choose an additional number for a higher prize.

The Toto is a popular betting game in Singapore and around the world. It can be found at various outlets in the country. A winning ticket must be claimed within 90 days. If the winner is unable to claim their prize, they can assert it in court within another 90 days.
